For this reason, occasional in-person attendance is required for all Scribd employees, regardless of their location. • As the Senior Engineering Manager of the Scribd Core Team, you’re an experienced engineering manager who brings both technical expertise and a people-first approach to engineering management.

Requirements

• 3+ years of engineering management experience with a proven track record of leading high-performing, full-stack development teams. • Experience building high-scale web front ends with React; additional experience with Ruby on Rails and/or GraphQL a plus. • A collaborative, empathetic approach to leadership, with demonstrated success in mentoring, developing, and supporting engineering teams. • A data-informed mindset, with the ability to define and track key performance metrics, ensuring impactful product outcomes. • Experience with adtech, ideally including working with in-house or third-party ad solutions and integrating advertising strategies within a digital platform.
