Description

• Scroll Foundation is seeking an experienced and dynamic Governance Facilitator to serve as the vital link between the community and the Foundation, ensuring efficient coordination and facilitation of DAO activities. • The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Web3 governance systems, DAO communities, strong relationship management skills, and a deep understanding of decentralized governance principles. • Collaborate with Key Stakeholders: Work closely with the Scroll Foundation team, governance advisors, and in the future with delegates, and community members. • Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee daily governance operations and track requirements from both delegates and the Foundation. • Coordinate and Facilitate Governance Activities: Lead and manage efforts with delegates from the Foundation’s perspective. • Maintain & Improve Governance Frameworks: Collaborate with the Governance Lead and Scroll Foundation overall as well as key stakeholders to develop and implement governance frameworks and best practices.

Requirements

• Web3 Governance: Extensive knowledge of Ethereum, L2s, and decentralized governance systems is strongly preferred. Experience working within decentralized governance systems, preferably in a similar public-facing role within major DAOs. • Relationship Management: Strong relationship management skills, with experience in client-facing roles (e.g., law, consulting, client facing roles). • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex matters clearly and effectively. Conflict resolution skills to navigate and mediate disputes within the community. • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and operational skills to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneously. • Independent and Proactive: Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. • Scroll Values: Familiar with Scroll’s values and mission-aligned with Scroll’s vision and goals.
