• Finance Business Analyst. • We are seeking a skilled and motivated Finance Business Analyst to join our team. • Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager this role is responsible for preparing and analyzing the monthly financial statements, forecasts, and providing valuable insights to in a complex business structure. • The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment. • Excellent communication skills, accuracy, attention to detail, strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills are a must. • The successful candidate will be collaborative, professional, adaptable and able to work effectively independently. • Process accruals, general ledger reconciliations, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information contained in monthly accounts. • Prepare and ensure accuracy of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for several Serefin companies along with consolidated financial statements. • Analyze financial reports and identify trends, opportunities, and risks. • Prepare weekly cash flow forecast. • Maintain a documented system of procedures and internal controls to ensure the efficient operation of the finance department. • Assist with interim and year end audits. • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. • Accounting designation (CMA, CGA or CA), or an equivalent combination of related experience and education. • Minimum of 5 years accounting experience. • Multiple lines of business complex ownership structure. • Working knowledge of accounting systems NetSuite, Expensify and Payworks (for payroll) is an asset. • Previous M&A and international expansion experience an asset. • Self motivated and self-directed individual who enjoys working on a team. • Advanced Excel Skills; experience building complex templates and formulas. • Experience with NetSuite is an asset. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Impeccable analytical and organizational skills. • Ability to work closely with senior management team.
