Description

β€’ Develop efficient real-time software to integrate sensor data (LIDAR, cameras, IMUs) with decision-making processes. β€’ Design and implement system-level software for robot navigation, planning, and control. β€’ Lead the hardware/software bring-up of next-gen hardware versions with systems approach mindset. β€’ Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure software and hardware integration. β€’ Contribute to the architecture of the autonomy software stack, ensuring modularity, maintainability, and scalability. β€’ Develop and implement strategies to optimize software performance, ensuring efficient use of system resources. β€’ Debug and troubleshoot system software issues, identifying bottlenecks and improving performance. β€’ Implement system monitoring tools to ensure reliability and early detection of potential issues in production.

Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. β€’ 4+ years of experience in application software development with system verification and validation for real-time and safety critical systems. β€’ Prior work experience with robotics or autonomous systems, Should be good in at least one of major domains of perception / planning / controls / mapping. β€’ Proficient in modern C++ (C++17 and newer) and python with a deep understanding of performance optimization techniques. β€’ Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) or similar robotics middleware. β€’ Experience working with sensors such as LIDAR, GPS, cameras, and IMUs. β€’ Experience with CPU and GPU performance profiling and optimization tools. β€’ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
