Description

• Collaborate with other senior and non-senior engineers by pairing, brainstorming, reviewing one another's code in PRs • Design, develop and maintain the Docket application - from API (Google Cloud Functions / Google Cloud Firestore) to third-party API integrations • Actively participate (and sometimes lead) design and build activities for new product offerings • Optimize code and tune performance as we progress towards enterprise-scale • Contribute to code reviews, documentation and other team processes • Coordinate and communicate effectively within your engineering team and with product owners • Periodically mentor and guide less senior engineers on the team • Participate in recruiting & interviewing other engineering candidates • Close relationships with Product Owners for upcoming work

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Senior Software Engineer • Demonstrated experience working actively with other team members • Mastery of more than one mainstream programming languages besides only JavaScript/TypeScript • Experience with other major languages is typical for this role • Experience with and/or exposure to a variety of data storage (including relational, NoSQL, data warehouse solutions) • Ability to develop and maintain unit, functional and integration(E2E) tests • Self-starter with a positive can-do attitude and a curious, open mind • Significant, senior-level experience building APIs and backend services utilizing JavaScript and other popular backend-centric JS frameworks • Bonus points if you have experience with Full-stack and front-end experience in other frameworks • Bonus points if you have experience with Google Cloud Platform, including Google Cloud Firestore and Google Cloud Functions • Bonus points if you have experience with Elasticsearch • Bonus points if you have experience with Ionic/Capacitor.js • Bonus points if you have experience with Front-end testing with Cypress, Jasmine, and Karma • Bonus points if you have experience with Visual Studio Code, PhpStorm (or other JetBrains IDEs), Docker and Postman • Bonus points if you have experience with Accounting Systems Knowledge • Bonus points if you have experience with Route Management & Optimization (HERE and Google Maps) • Bonus points if you have experience with QuickBooks Online/Desktop integration
