• Lead and drive the delivery of mission-critical foundational/platform projects, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes. • Be hands-on in architecture, design, and implementation, contributing immediately in a modern .NET/Azure environment. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align project goals and ensure seamless integration of foundational systems. • Unlock the full potential of a highly skilled team ranging from Senior to Principal engineers, fostering an environment of excellence and high performance. • Participate actively in designing highly available and scalable systems, providing technical expertise to guide the team. • Report progress regularly to stakeholders, maintaining transparency on project status and delivery timelines. • Prioritize the delivery of critical projects while supporting engineers' professional growth and success. • Build and maintain strong relationships with other teams to facilitate collaboration on foundational initiatives. • Encourage a culture of ownership and accountability within the team, driving commitment to project goals. • Communicate effectively with developers, product managers, customers, partners, and other leaders to align on objectives and expectations.

Requirements

• Strong communication and technical writing skills. • 7+ years of experience in managing a small to medium software development teams. • 4+ years of experience in senior engineering roles (designing APIs, abstractions, and tools used by other engineers). • Experience with Microsoft .NET technology stack (C# / .NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs) and SQL databases (Microsoft SQL Server). • Knowledge of other technology stacks (e.g. Python / Unix, Java, mobile platforms). • B.S., M.S. or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or a related technical field.
