📋 Description

• Play a pivotal role as Principal Engineer at sevDesk. • Take ownership of technical solutions and provide leadership in decision-making processes. • Be accountable for domain architecture and integration with sevDesk's overall technology framework. • Provide guidance and advice to the engineering director and engineering manager. • Collaborate with the chief architect and CTO on overall architecture and tech strategy. • Train, mentor, and coach senior engineers at sevDesk, promoting knowledge sharing. • Tackle software problems with visible risks, roadblocks, and constraints. • Possess an in-depth understanding of sevDesk's core product and architecture.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in software engineering with a proven track record and expert-level knowledge in specific technologies, including Kotlin, Spring, and React.js. • Experienced with modern software architecture patterns and familiar with DevOps practices such as YBIYRI, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and 24/7 operations. • Ability to lead the technical transition of our old PHP backend monolith into the new tech stack for the domain. • Committed to advocate security best practices across the domain. • Ability to mentor other developers, host knowledge-sharing sessions, and act as an advocate for best tech practices, such as CI/CD, TDD, BDD, DDD, Design Patterns. • Experienced with cloud-native architectures, with a preference for AWS (Amazon Web Services). • Agile mindset and the ability to balance business, individual, and team needs, providing a holistic approach to problem-solving and decision-making. • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
