Description

• Join a national franchise network in the Aged Care sector • Support the General Manager with financial and management accounting • Ensure compliance with key industry regulations • Drive process improvements and support financial reporting and analysis • Manage monthly financial processes including HCP claim reconciliation • Oversee pay runs, invoicing, bill payments, and other financial transactions • Prepare year-end statutory accounts and financial reports • Analyze franchise business performance and prepare monthly reports • Ensure tax compliance and reporting • Conduct the annual budget process • Maintain financial systems and improve processes • Conduct internal audits of franchise members • Provide training for finance team members • Collaborate with the team to maintain functional continuity • Ensure accurate and comprehensive financial documentation • Lead by example and foster teamwork

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Commerce, majoring in Accounting • CPA or CA certification or similar professional bodies • 3–5 years of Australian accounting experience with AU payroll, invoicing and financial reporting. • Strong skills in Xero, enterprise management software, and the Microsoft Office Suite. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail • Commitment to continuous learning and compliance with industry standards • Experience in the Aged Care industry or with Home Care Packages (HCP) is a plus • Worked in a franchise business environment is a plus • Postgraduate qualifications in Accounting or a related field is a plus • Track record of streamlining processes and improving financial systems is a plus • Innovation and adaptability to a dynamic work environment is a plus
