Description

• Plans, organizes, and implements day to day activities of testing. • Coordinates with developers, architects, and functional analysts within an agile/scrum environment. • Creates SQL queries and knowledge of Xray (within Jira). • Reviews and understands user stories and associated acceptance criteria. • Writes test scripts based on defined and approved user stories. • Executes all phases and types of testing. • Documents the testing results and coordinates with developers. • Assists with the building of test strategies & methodologies. • Understands complex business and functional requirements. • Participates in product design reviews for input on requirements. • Works with Product & Engineering Teams for quality enforcement. • Proactively identifies and communicates risks and opportunities.

Requirements

• Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen • Candidate must have a successful NACI or OPM/NS • Candidate must have a current or recent Public Trust (or Higher) with the US government. • 5+ years experience in Quality Assurance Testing • Comprehensive experience executing all phases of testing • Developing test strategies, test scripts, and test automation frameworks • Testing complex data workflows and migrations within Agile/Scrum • SQL knowledge including the ability to write complex queries • QA methodologies, tools, and processes expertise • Experience with Jira and test management tools like Xray • Data Analysis and Infrastructure experience • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines • Exception verbal/written communication skills • Strong organizational skills for multiple priorities • Ability to identify risks proactively
