• The Content Marketing Manager at Shelf is responsible for taking fresh content we publish every Sunday on our Youtube channel and syndicating it across key written channels including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, our mailing list, and our blog to serve our audience at the highest level and help drive quality leads and pipeline for our SaaS products and Advisory services. • While serving our audience, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Leadership Team to align on strategies and document our journey. The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of success with an amazing ability to communicate with our audience. The ideal candidate for this role is an exceptional writer and content strategist with a knack for breaking down complex topics into compelling, digestible narratives. Success in this role means you’re helping us drive brand awareness, affinity, and quality pipeline through the strategic use of content. • Partner with our internal subject matter experts to develop original content in a variety of formats, from organic LinkedIn posts, Content ADs, blog posts and articles to white papers, and infographics. • Own, manage, and execute on our weekly content calendar to consistently publish content across our written channels that serves our audience at the highest level. • Publish compelling and engaging content daily across our Social Media channels, our mailing list and our blog. • Maximize the value and reach of our content by turning high-performing assets into a library of derivative pieces for use in multiple channels. • Build and execute content strategies that support and amplify our short- and long-term marketing initiatives and campaigns. • Collaborate closely with our marketing and production team to map and optimize content across the buyer journey. • Be a steward of best practices in messaging, grammar, writing, and style. • Measure and report on content performance; optimize based on results. • Help develop standards, processes, and tools to drive greater efficiencies in how we work and operate as a cross-functional team. • Stay on top of content marketing trends and bring new ideas for us to explore and test. • Partner with Sales to drive quality leads and pipeline from our content marketing efforts.
• 2+ years’ experience in a content marketing role. • “No job is too small or big, get things done” attitude. • Checklist/Process and Systems oriented behavior. • Extreme attention to detail and organization. • Exemplary planning and time management skills. • Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment. • Ability to change course quickly as priorities change. • High level verbal and written communications skills. • Sharp, self-directed and self-motivated with the ability to execute on plans independent of direction. • Tech Savvy, Knowledge of Apple, Google and project management products; including G-Suite (Google Docs, Google Sheets and Slack). • Won’t let things fall through the cracks. Anticipate where things could get overlooked and prevent it.
