📋 Description

• Signature Aviation is seeking a Government Relations Director to lead engagement with state and local policymakers, regulatory agencies, and industry stakeholders. • This role will be responsible for developing and executing advocacy strategies that align with the company's business objectives and ensure compliance with evolving regulations. • The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in government relations, legislative processes, and public policy, preferably in the aviation or transportation industry. • Location: This is a remote position based in the Eastern Region.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in political science, public administration, law, business, or a related field. • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in government affairs, legislative advocacy, or regulatory affairs, preferably in aviation, transportation, or a related industry. • Strong network within state and local government circles, including relevant agencies and industry groups. • Deep understanding of state and local legislative and regulatory processes. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to influence decision-makers and navigate complex political landscapes. • Strong analytical skills and ability to assess policy implications. • Proven ability to work independently and collaborate across teams. • Willingness to travel frequently to engage with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions. • Experience working with government contracts, permitting processes, or public-private partnerships is a plus.
