Description

• The IT Director of Cloud & AI Platforms at Signet Jewelers oversees the architecture, development, deployment and management of the Signet Cloud (AWS/Azure) environment • Lead a team of cloud engineers and architects to drive the adoption and optimization of Cloud and AI technologies • Responsible for the effective operation of Cloud environments while ensuring adherence to guiding principles and compliance frameworks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Informational Technology, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) • Proven experience in cloud computing with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing Cloud and AI initiatives • Deep knowledge of AWS cloud services (compute, storage, networking, security, DevOps) • Strong background in AI/ML platforms (e.g., Amazon Q, Bedrock, SageMaker) • Proficiency in data governance and responsible AI practices • Proven experience in managing, mentoring, and growing technical teams, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and innovation • Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence executive leaders and technical teams alike • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment • Certifications in Solutions Architecture, DevOps, and/or AI
