📋 Description

• Significance is a woman-owned consulting firm serving the federal government. • We are known for building trusted relationships within our teams and with our clients. • We are seeking a General Equipment Audit Analyst on our program supporting the US Army. • Support the General Equipment (GE) audit support and remediation efforts. • Serve as a subject matter expert on general equipment procedures for the Army's financial statement audit and RMIC program. • Coordinate with auditors and Army stakeholders for comprehensive reviews, ensuring compliance with DoD and DA standards. • Lead and train teams in best practices for equipment handling and inventory management. • Assist in developing and implementing internal control systems for asset protection and accurate financial reporting. • Conduct controls testing, identify risks, and provide recommendations for improvement. • Collaborate with various command levels to align equipment management with organizational goals. • Stay updated on DoD and DA policy changes to maintain effective equipment management strategies. • Prepare and present reports on audit findings and control assessments to management and stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance (interim OK) • Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Business Management or CPA or CISA or PMP or CGFM or CDFM • 4 years of experience with federal financial management • 2 years of federal accounting experience • Experience supporting U.S. Army clients within audit readiness, financial management, accounting, or logistics and sustainment. • Experience with Army financial management and property systems such as General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-A), Theater Enterprise-Wide Logistics System (TEWLS), and Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF).
