📋 Description

• Lead the development of a scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud platform across AWS and GCP. • Provide technical leadership for designing and operating Kubernetes clusters and cloud-native services, focusing on scalability, security, cost-effectiveness, and standardization. • Champion developer self-service by building tools and frameworks that empower teams to deploy and manage infrastructure independently. • Define and measure developer productivity using frameworks like DORA and SPACE while leveraging AI-powered solutions to optimize workflows. • Establish and manage a robust 24/7 monitoring strategy, ensuring all critical systems meet defined SLOs for reliability, performance, and security. • Partner with cross-functional teams to define roadmaps and deliver high-priority projects directly impacting business outcomes. • Own relationships with cloud service providers to ensure cost-effective usage and alignment with organizational goals. • Optimize cloud spend through FinOps practices while maintaining operational excellence. • Advocate for architectural best practices in cloud platform development across the engineering organization. • Mentor and grow a high-performing team of engineers while fostering an inclusive culture of innovation.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering or cloud platform roles, with 2+ years in technical leadership or management. • Expertise in Kubernetes, AWS/GCP infrastructure, and databases (e.g., MySQL, DynamoDB, Cassandra). • Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform/Pulumi), observability platforms (Datadog, CloudWatch), and SLO-driven reliability management. • Experience leveraging AI-powered tools to improve operational efficiency and drive operational excellence. • Demonstrated experience in establishing efficient 24/7 monitoring systems and processes that ensure reliability at scale. • Proven ability to build and lead distributed teams across geographies while fostering collaboration and innovation. • Excellent communication skills with a track record of mentoring engineers. • Commitment to promoting diversity and creating an inclusive and safe work environment.
