📋 Description

• Oversee the technical vision, strategy, and execution of SimpliGov’s engineering efforts. • Lead a high-performing team to design, develop, and maintain a scalable, multi-region SaaS platform leveraging microservices architecture and Azure Cloud PaaS/IaaS systems. • Be responsible for overseeing the design and optimization of data systems, including MSSQL, database architecture, and NoSQL implementations.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. • Extensive experience with microservices architecture and modern engineering practices. • Advanced experience with MSSQL, including database design, optimization, and query performance tuning. • Practical experience with implementing and managing NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, CosmosDB). • Strong knowledge of database architecture principles and best practices for data modeling and scaling. • In-depth knowledge of Azure Cloud PaaS and IaaS systems. • Advanced proficiency in C#, .NET, Entity Framework, and modern engineering practices. • Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and multi-threaded application development. • Expertise in secure coding practices and web application security (e.g., HTTP/S, encryption, hashing, authentication, and mitigation of OWASP vulnerabilities). • Strong ability to manage and scale engineering teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
