📋 Description
• Responsible for tooling, design, implementation, scalability and performance of APIs and data pipeline • Implement a new API for internal tools or public APIs • Review performance metrics for bad trends or bottlenecks • Coach and mentor junior and intermediate developers • Design a new GraphQL API for a new application • Ensure systems adhere to security best practices
🎯 Requirements
• Degree in computing science or engineering or equivalent • 6-8 years of experience in software development with experience coaching and mentoring junior developers • Proven ability to build scalable and reliable solutions • Strong balance of hands-on development, architecture knowledge and production support • Exposure to AWS (ECS, SQS, CloudWatch, S3) or other cloud providers • Experience building GraphQL/TypeScript based APIs • Experience building applications using Docker
