Description
• At Skyven Technologies, we develop heat pump technology to decarbonize industrial heat. • We aim to eliminate on-site CO2 emissions from industrial steam. • Looking for a Modeling and Simulation Engineer to support software for designing steam heat pumps. • Develop physics-based software models for product development, sales, and solutions architecture. • Requires strong background in thermodynamics and software development. • Potential to lead development of new software products in the future.
Requirements
• B.S. in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, computer science or related engineering discipline • 3+ years of post-graduate experience in functional/physical model development in MATLAB and Simulink • Strong fundamentals in thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, thermal and mechanical systems and ability to abstract fundamental concepts to first-of-kind systems • Experience in source code management in Git, Subversion, or similar software development platform • Experience in creation and development of steady state and dynamic physics-based models for thermo-mechanical systems to enhance the engineering design process
Benefits
