Description

•About us: Sleek.com is on a mission to revolutionise how entrepreneurs operate their businesses. •We want to give business owners peace of mind and the power of online solutions. •We are now looking for a Tax Accountant to join our growing Australian team! •Preparation of Financial Statements and Tax Returns for a range of entity types. •Handle regulatory submissions such as Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) and Taxable Payments Annual Report (TPAR). •Stay updated on financial and taxation regulations to ensure compliance. •Maintain clear and professional communication with clients. •Ensure the on-time lodgement of tax returns and compliance documents. •Perform other accounting and tax-related tasks as assigned by management. •Use relevant accounting and tax software effectively to streamline processes. •Maintain high attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Requirements

•Educational Background: A degree in Accounting or a related field. •Taxation Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience with Australian tax, including the preparation of tax returns for sole traders, companies, partnerships, and trusts. •Software Proficiency: Certified Xero user with strong expertise in its functionality. •Experience using additional software such as Dext and Fathom is highly desirable. •Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented. •Positive attitude with the ability to adapt to changing priorities. •Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively engage with clients and team members. •Capable of meeting tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality of work.
