📋 Description
• SmartAsset is an online destination for consumer-focused financial information and advice that powers SmartAdvisor. • Develop and deploy machine learning models that drive business decisions and improve user experience. • Access and analyze a variety of data to perform descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics. • Work closely with stakeholders from different teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, and Technology). • Create stable models that will run in a production environment. • Collaboratively deliver impactful data products.
🎯 Requirements
• Proficient in Python and SQL • Strong data visualization and analysis skills (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, scikit learn, tensorflow, etc) • Working experience with the development and deployment of predictive models, with an emphasis on time series and categorization models. • Strong statistical foundation • Skilled in cross-team collaboration and in communicating technical ideas to a non-technical audience • Experience with model development/deployment best practices (documentation, git, environments, unit tests...) • An investigative journalist-type approach when it comes to getting answers to a problem • Strong quantitative background, having either been a graduate of a data science bootcamp, or the holder of an undergraduate or graduate degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, physics, econometrics, or another related quantitative field • 3 years of relevant working experience
