📋 Description

• Smartsheet is a tech company with a human story to tell. We’re here to empower teams to manage projects, automate workflows, and rapidly build new secure solutions, using simple no-code tools. • The Conversations Team are responsible for all conversation related use-cases within the Smartsheet ecosystem. We collaborate with other teams to enable users of Smartsheet to manage and track critical communication in real-time, directly in the context of your work. • You will report to our Manager, Engineering located in our Bellevue office, or you may work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is a registered employer. • You will build scalable back-end services and responsive UI elements, solve challenging distributed systems problems, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years software development experience building highly scalable, highly available applications • 5+ years of programming experience with full stack technologies such Java, Kotlin or TypeScript • 3+ years of experience with microservice and event driven architectures • 2+ years of experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.) • 2+ years of experience with modern client JS libraries, like React, Redux • Experience developing, documenting, and supporting REST APIs • Experience with software development patterns such as SOLID, clean code, TDD • Experience with software development practices and tools such as Agile, Scrum, Gitlab, JIRA • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience • Legally eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis
