Description

• Lead complex sales contract negotiations for Private and Public Sector businesses. • Review, draft, negotiate, and interpret technology and commercial contracts including SaaS agreements. • Serve as a central member of the Public Sector RFX team. • Lead response to legal requirements in RFXs and protect company confidential information. • Advise Sales leadership on teaming strategies, pricing approach, and RFX compliance. • Identify risks and offer creative risk mitigation solutions. • Use knowledge of legal issues relating to IP, Licensing, Data Use, and Privacy. • Prepare, maintain and improve template agreements, playbooks, and operational guidance. • Provide guidance and mentorship to more junior team members. • Manage outside counsel, if needed.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school and active Bar membership. • 7+ years of post JD experience negotiating sales-side SaaS agreements. • 2+ years at a government contractor supporting sales to SLED and/or Federal markets. • Outstanding communication and critical thinking skills. • Excellent organization and prioritization skills. • Self-awareness. • Experience collaborating across functions. • Demonstrated ability to make decisions under ambiguous circumstances. • A focus on closing deals and finding pragmatic solutions to challenges. • Adaptability to change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
