Description

• Be responsible for the overall post-sales success of a customer. • Have demonstrated knowledge and experience in networking, messaging, and middleware technologies. • Develop scripts to compare configurations or automate routine tasks and writing integration code in Java or C#. • Assist customers in monitoring and management of deployed Solace products including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and responding to alerts. • Travel occasionally based on customer needs, sometimes globally. • Develop best practices documents or other documents for the customer to facilitate knowledge transfer and sharing. • Documentation and communication skills must be exceptional.

Requirements

• Education - Undergraduate degree, ideally in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar technical degree; Masters in Science, Business, or Engineering an asset. • 5+ Years of Experience in application development, integration or system Messaging Middleware / Integration. • Technical knowledge of messaging products such as IBM MQ, TIBCO EMS/RV/BW and/or Open Source messaging such as Kafka, Rabbit, ActiveMQ, etc. would be beneficial to the role. • An understanding of SOA and JMS are essential and working knowledge of MQTT, AMQP, REST, and/or JavaScript, would all be assets. • Experience providing application, hardware, and/or Cloud platform support is desired. • Experience developing, integrating, and troubleshooting Java and/or C/C++/C# code is required. • Working experience with Technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, PaaS platforms. • Good knowledge of network layers and topologies as well as general understanding of routers, switches, gateways, and other networking gear and how they impact performance is beneficial.
