Description

• Account Management – People, Program, Price, Performance (KPI’s) • Account retention and organic growth • New Business Development – Developing target prospects and making contact • Developing opportunities, preparing & presenting proposals and winning new business • Maintaining the highest safety standards to ensure there are no incidents or accidents • Targeting new business opportunities specifically in Central Africa • Pursuing growth and developing new applications and opportunities • Managing existing accounts as allocated ensuring satisfaction and ongoing profitability • Providing professional on site service work to customers including water analysis and testing

Requirements

• Technical/scientific/industry related tertiary qualifications • Confident in working for long periods unsupervised • Ability to meet deadlines • Effective and confident communicator • Ability to sell and close business opportunities • 5 years Copper Mining or related industry experience • Plus: 5 years water or related industry experience • Ideally bilingual with French and regional language proficiencies • Fully computer literate, i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. • Experience and understanding of industrial processes • Experience and understanding of industrial engineering processes relating to cooling and steam processes
