Description
• Work in fast paced high-pressure environment managing internal and external stakeholders. • Understand Market Drivers and provide Market Intelligence; develop and maintain Cost Models. • Analyze spend data to identify cost savings and cash flow improvement opportunities. • Create and implement innovative, cost-effective procurement strategies. • Manage preferred supplier network including onboarding and collaboration with suppliers. • Negotiate contracts and purchases of chemicals optimizing supply and total cost of ownership.
Requirements
• 5+ years of sourcing experience, or equivalent technical experience. • Product Management, R&D, Process Technology, Production experience preferred • BS Chemical Engineering, BS Chemistry or equivalent degree required; MBA, MS, MSE preferred • Experience working with Water Treatment Polymers, and strong understanding of Polymer Chemistry. • Ability to multi-task with proven follow-through and adherence to changing priorities and deadlines required. • Ability to lead and work cross functionally with teams to balance solutions in accordance with budget, schedule and tools.
