Description
β’ We're on a journey to empower makers to bring their ideas to life. β’ We want to make it effortless for innovators and manufacturers to source the right materials. β’ We're looking for a procurement expert to lead Valdera's efforts in chemical, raw material, and ingredient sourcing. β’ The role will include studying buyer needs, reaching out to suppliers, executing partnerships, onboarding suppliers, and closing deals.
Requirements
β’ 4+ years experience working in raw material supply chain management and leading procurement/sourcing activities (Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Logistics) β’ Expert negotiator with the ability to manage and execute several technical raw material projects simultaneously β’ Proficiency in chemistry, raw materials, and ingredients β’ Familiarity with chemical and material purchasing documents (TDS, SDS. RFQ, COA etc.) β’ Excellent attention to detail and velocity β’ Ability to understand suppliers' feedstock, technical specifications, and manufacturing processes β’ Ability to clearly create, document, and communicate material challenges, opportunities, and recommendations across teams
