• Supports the Category Manager & Sr. Specialists in maximizing value in assigned categories. • Responsible for sourcing services that support daily business operations and leading the contracting process. • Ensures MVH hospitals have an uninterrupted supply of goods, services and equipment at the lowest overall demonstrated cost. • Develops, fosters and maintains effective communication and relationships with all internal and external customers. • Participates in the development and implementation of world class supply network practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred. • 4-years of experience in purchasing cycles and buying processes. • Knowledge of purchasing regulations, legal compliance, policies and procedures with demonstrated advanced negotiations, contract and sourcing skills preferred. • Background and experience in at least one or more of the following sourcing categories: IT, Facilities, Legal, Marketing, Corporate Affairs, HR and/or Consultants preferred. • Ability to understand and interpret key financial statements and components of ROTA preferred. • Health care background (veterinary or human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.) is preferred.
