Description

• Proactively assess sourcing and category opportunities by gathering spend information, company purchasing patterns, competitive position, structured analysis of supplier/category industry, economics, market conditions, and expiring contracts. • Use strong industry knowledge when partnering with others to establish sourcing strategies which include evaluation of sourcing alternatives, identifying the sourcing approach, and establishing project plan/timeline to deliver an effective sourcing solution. • Lead negotiations of medium to high complexity contracts to document a clear understanding of supplier performance expectations. • Negotiate contract terms and pricing with suppliers to secure the best possible value. • Execute the category strategy and plan for applicable categories as directed by SPS leadership. • Drive cost savings opportunities to meet SPS goals; work with business stakeholders and category management to identify savings opportunities. • Leverage data and market analytics to provide intelligence, analysis and reporting on each sourcing event. • Execute applicable facets of the source to pay processes, ensuring process and policy compliance. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and ensure alignment with company objectives.

Requirements

• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred) • 3 or more years of experience (Preferred) • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
