• The Territory Manager is responsible for achieving the targeted sales and margin levels for the territory • Maintaining and developing key customer and distributor relationships • Maximizing the performance of the distributor team by providing the right level of resources, support and assistance • Servicing customers to fulfill contractual requirements through the utilization of call plans, sales reporting, and customer reviews • New business development and growing sales through direct and distributor sales • Implementing the business plan and sales strategy for the territory that ensure attainment of company sales goals and profitability • Identifying and targeting sales opportunities within existing accounts
• Sales and Service Skills/experience • Tertiary qualification preferably in a technical or commercial field • Minimum of 2-3 years selling technical servicing experience • Possess sound business acumen and desire to achieve • High level of communication and presentation skills • Customer focused and results driven individual • Quick to learn and adapt to new technical skills and knowledge • Excelling in technical courses and seminars • Accurately scopes out length and difficulty of tasks and projects • Has the ability to set objectives and goals; breaks down work into the process steps • Develops schedules and task/people assignments; anticipates and adjusts for problems and roadblocks • Able to measure performance against goals and evaluates results • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Microsoft Outlook Suite / word, excel, PowerPoint skills required • Ability to travel monthly – at least 10 days a month within New Zealand • Full and valid driver’s license
