Description

• The Central Procurement Specialist will adhere to the procedures of centralized procurement and the related purchasing initiatives. • Assists in defining the goals and priorities for centralized drug and supply procurement company-wide. • Works with internal as well as external customers to meet supply needs. • Maintain centralized procurement strategies to ensure inventory remains in range set by the Chief Financial Officer. • Identify opportunities for savings by maximizing centralized model. • Purchasing of pharmaceuticals and related supplies. • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with team members in the supply chain and inventory management departments. • Manage allocations when required. • Collaborate with data analysts on projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Finance, Logistics, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Minimum 2 years procurement experience. • Ability to think strategically and drive changes for clarity and efficiencies. • Interpersonal and communication skills, work well in team environment and able to work in diverse environments. • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing through presentation and individual discussions with all levels of the organization both internally and externally.
