Description

• Soleo Health is seeking a Senior Counsel, Employment and Litigation to work Remotely (USA). • This attorney also collaborates with the Legal team to manage pre-litigation and litigation matters. • Provide practical and business-oriented legal advice and counseling on a range of employment issues. • Drafting, revising and reviewing employment-related contracts, agreements, severance agreements, and more. • Handling administrative and arbitration matters, such as responses to government agency audits and investigations. • Oversee, direct and provide employment legal advice concerning internal investigations. • Manage employment related litigation, including responding to attorney demand letters. • Actively monitor employment law changes and ensure compliance with applicable policies and practices. • Collaborate with business teams to respond to regulatory agency inquiries and manage litigation deliverables.

Requirements

• JD degree from an accredited law school • Bar admission in the US • Min 5-7 years’ experience in employment and benefits law • Litigation experience preferred • Health care experience preferred • Possess strong client-relations and interpersonal skills • Excellent judgment and superior written and oral communication and analytical skills • Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple time-sensitive tasks effectively and independently • Strong ability to work collaboratively within the Legal Department and across other departments • Ability to communicate legal concepts in a digestible manner for business leaders • Ability to help internal clients navigate legal issues to support both the business goals and best interests of the Company
