Description

• Looking for a highly skilled computer programmer comfortable with both front and back end programming • Responsible for developing and designing front end web architecture • Ensuring responsiveness of applications • Working alongside graphic designers for web design features • Seeing through a project from conception to finished product • Designing and developing APIs • Meeting both technical and consumer needs • Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages

Requirements

• Degree in computer science • Strong organizational and project management skills • Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript • Familiarity with JavaScript libraries/frameworks such as React • Experience with Node.js • Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB • Excellent verbal communication skills • Good problem-solving skills • Attention to detail • Experience with modern Javascript (ES6 and beyond) and Javascript app architectures • Understands the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds using promises • Experience designing and implementing backend services and APIs • Experience with managing deploys and infrastructure monitoring • Experience with NoSQL datastores • Strong insight into user experience and interface design • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git • Understanding of Server Side CSS preprocessors • Comfortable with 'owning' products/features • Comfortable and willing to learn as you go • Excited to work with a small team and have lots of input in product direction
