Description

•Sounder Benefits is a strategic benefits solution for small and mid-sized businesses. •This position is for the Head of Engineering, the sole Engineering resource initially. •You will develop and architect technical solutions. •Focus on software development in healthcare information, AI, and benefits technology. •Report directly to Sounder’s CEO and work remotely.

Requirements

•8-10+ years of hands-on software development experience and proven success in developing and deploying greenfield software solutions in 0 to 1 environments. •Ability to manage technical teams and effectively recruit & build Engineering teams. •Preference for candidates with experience in health data systems (e.g., EMRs, adjudicated claims). •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. •Technical Expertise developing platform technologies in an AI environment, with focus on machine and continual learning model development. Experience with platforms/languages like TensorFlow, Python, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Go. •Strong expertise in backend systems, cloud infrastructures, and API integrations using modern programming languages.
