β’ Support monthly close process, prepare standard journal entries, and maintain monthly reconciliations and related workpapers β’ Prepare detailed analysis of community level income statements, including coordination and continuous communication with community leadership on status of the close, results of financial analysis and other accounting and financial support β’ Prepare detailed community level balance sheet reconciliations, including cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets and accrued liabilities β’ Work with Accounting Team on SME areas for the monthly close and reporting of consolidated balance sheet and income statement level accounts β’ Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles β’ Assist Accounting Manager and Internal Audit with compliance related matters including year-end audit support and compliance with internal controls β’ Participate in / coordinate trainings regarding day-to-day accounting related matters and other technical matters β’ Assist Accounting Manager with proposing and executing process improvements to increase effectiveness and efficiency β’ Perform budget and forecast preparation and analysis
β’ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance β’ Minimum two years of relevant accounting experience (audit or finance may be considered) β’ Public accounting experience preferred but not required, and CPA or candidate a plus β’ Experience with Workday ERP a plus but not required β’ Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills β’ Strong attention to detail, organized and able to handle multiple deliverables at one time β’ Works well in changing / fluid environment and has the ability to be self-sufficient when necessary with the prioritization of tasks
