Description
• Conduct thorough reviews and reconciliations of accounts. • Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes. • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. • Manage and optimize the chart of accounts. • Drive process improvements in the accounting department. • Ensure adherence to financial laws and regulations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in accounting or a similar role. • Current or previous experience working for one of the Big 4 accounting firms. • Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar ERP systems. • Comprehensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. • Strong leadership and communication skills. • A proactive approach to financial management. • Experience in a start-up or rapidly growing business environment.
