📋 Description

• Oversee general ledger reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. • Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations. • Perform detailed balance sheet account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies. • Prepare variance analysis and financial commentary to provide insights into financial results. • Ensure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and company accounting policies. • Support internal and external audits by preparing required schedules, reports, and documentation. • Collaborate with the US finance team, ensuring seamless financial reporting and alignment of accounting standards. • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting. • Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff on GL accounting and financial reporting.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, or similar roles. • Strong understanding of financial reporting, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end close activities. • Expert knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP accounting standards. • Experience using ERP accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar). • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling, and reconciliation formulas). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with the US-based team. • Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple priorities. • Experience working night shifts or willingness to work during US business hours.
