📋 Description
• Support and manage the financial activities of multiple startup clients. • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. • Prepare financial statements, maintain general ledgers, manage accounts payable and receivable, and support the monthly closing process. • Provide valuable financial insights to clients.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. • 3+ years of corporate accounting experience. • Experience working remotely for a U.S.-based accounting firm. • Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles. • Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, U.S. GAAP, laws, standards, and state/national regulations. • Solid experience with QuickBooks Online (certification a plus). • Advanced proficiency with spreadsheet software (MS Excel and Google Sheets). • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to follow through and execute a high volume of nuanced tasks. • Ability to work with a strong sense of urgency in a fast-paced setting with a wide variety of tasks. • A passion for rapidly changing technology and software solutions that maximize efficiency and deliver firm-wide value.
