• Established in 2007, Spabreaks.com became Europe’s leading Spa Travel Agency. • Looking for a talented Mid Front End Software Developer to join a fast-paced Tech team. • Play a pivotal role in the next stage of our company’s growth in Spa travel. • Focus on exploring, identifying, evaluating, building, and promoting technology, tools, and processes. • Continuously improve the online platform and support growth strategy.

Requirements

• Write code with an eye for continuous improvement through refactoring • Work with the internal team and take an active part in daily stand ups and customer experience workshops • Work closely with the Design team to give support and feedback • Implement product features working as part of an agile team • Develop ongoing technical improvements in front end architecture • Contribute to Sprint planning and feature slicing, balancing product requirements, technical needs and project risks • Client-side development in HTML/CSS/JS • Occasionally dipping into Ruby on Rails for server-side programming (or at least understanding) • Typical tasks for the team span multiple systems at a time, hosted on different platforms, on our own as well as third-party code • Provide suggestions and input to various aspects of design and UX • Participate in code reviews and be comfortable giving/accepting direction
