📋 Description

• Responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements • Ensure appropriate accounting control procedures • Develop understanding of assigned areas and related stakeholders • Ensure capital assets flow from inventory to progress and capitalization • Compile and review journal entries in compliance with GAAP • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances • Provide timely and reliable financial information to leadership • Support internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance • Complete special projects and analyses as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting required • Minimum of one year of practical general ledger accounting experience preferred • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, intermediate knowledge of Excel required • Knowledge of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (U.S. GAAP) • Functional knowledge of general and corporate accounting processes and internal controls • Ability to understand and communicate accounting issues • Superb attention to detail, strong planning and organization skills • Experience in process improvement activities • Passion for learning and personal growth • Ability to work extra hours as needed to support the financial close process • Proficiency with Oracle Fusion preferred
