• Splice is a creative platform for people who make music. • A subscription to Splice inspires and accelerates creative success for digital music creators. • Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Engineering, you will guide a team of engineers. • Responsible for core APIs, AuthN/Z, and payments processing.
🎯 Requirements
• Proven expertise in technical leadership within a cross-functional and distributed team environment. • Outstanding communication, organizational skills, and a user-centric mindset. • Experience implementing agile methodologies, particularly Kanban and/or Lean. • Technical competency in API design, go, Java/TypeScript, GraphQL, OAuth, database design and query optimization, and performance. • Experience leading teams building platform-level capabilities to enable SaaS applications. • Proficient in strategy planning and stakeholder management. • Demonstrated expertise in guiding senior engineers and identifying growth avenues for their continuing development. • Proven track record of mentoring and coaching early-career engineers in both personal development and business impact.
