• Spotify is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our Music Technology Platform engineering organization. • You will forge new ground in how we help labels and their artists and managers, and help us fulfill our mission of giving a million creative artists the opportunity to live off their art. • As a part of a platform-focused team, you will help exemplify, measure and raise the reliability of products and operational capabilities of squads across the Music Mission organization by providing tools and collaborating with teams a distributed database with which to build dynamic data visualizations for artists and labels. • You'll work closely with engineers to advocate for sensible, scalable, systems design and share responsibility with them in diagnosing, resolving, and preventing production issues.

Requirements

• You have 5+ years of relevant experience. • You bring a background in SRE and database technologies, with experience in cloud-native architectures. • You have an understanding of various database technologies across platforms like GCP, AWS, and Azure, Druid or another OLAP database is a great to have for this role. • You are proficient in Java, with additional skills in Kubernetes, Terraform. Experience with programming languages such as Python, Scala, Go, or TypeScript would be a bonus! • You are a good communicator and an empathetic, attentive listener with the capability to anticipate the needs of partners. • You are deeply curious, and enjoy exploring both technical and organizational problems and domains. • You are eager to learn new technologies and to expand your area of expertise.
