Description

• Spotlight Sports Group is a global media and technology company specialising in sports betting content and data. • Provide a professional and proactive service in an ITIL focused Operations team. • Support development teams for tasks prior to release to production. • Contribute to the improvements and evolution of digital content infrastructure, products and services.

Requirements

• Experience of hands experience implementing DevOps practices at scale • Hands on experience working with AWS and Cloud and “everything as a service” • Extensive experience working in a Linux/Unix/Windows environment • Extensive experience with Jenkins CI Tooling • Knowledge of state of the art monitoring technology and techniques • Experience working with Restful APIs • Experience with Configuration Management tooling (Ansible/Puppet/Chef) • Extensive experience in Terraform • Experience in scripting for automation (Bash/Python) • Available for on-call duties, responding to work-related matters outside regular hours as per schedule • Desirable: Knowledge and experience of push messaging (websockets etc) • Desirable: Previous development experience (Java/PHP/Python) • Experience of leading project tasks and coaching junior staff members. • Leading by example and knowledge sharing to the wider platforms team (DBA/SRE).
