• Simply put, SpryPoint provides Smart Solutions for Smart Utilities. • Founded in 2011, SpryPoint is a leading provider of cloud-based solutions for the utility sector. • Our team of experts has extensive experience serving utilities across North America. • SpryPoint is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer with 2-5 years of experience to join our team. • As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation, including user guides and release notes. • Your role will be critical in ensuring our customers can effectively utilize our products and stay informed about new features and updates.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience: 2-5 years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a software or technology-related environment. Experience with Customer Information Systems, Work and Asset Management, or Customer Self-Serve applications would be beneficial. Experience in the Utilities Industry is helpful, but not required. • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of software development processes and ability to comprehend technical concepts quickly. • Writing Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail. • Tools: Proficiency with documentation tools such as GoogleDocs, Snagit, Microsoft Word, or similar software. • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field is desirable, however, equivalent real-world experience with technical writing for a software company is also welcome. • Problem-Solving: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
