Description

• Actuary to join the Retirement Plans Stable Asset Fund (SAF) Product Management team. • Focused on pricing and risk management for SAF business. • Supporting operations of The Standard’s Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) program. • Participate in the Actuarial Student Program at The Standard. • Analyze financial results and communicate drivers and trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, actuarial science, business or a related field preferred. • Successful completion of a minimum of two exams/online courses (required). • Experience with actuarial modeling software – GGY Axis preferred. • Experience with Python or similar tool & business analytics software preferred. • Demonstrated experience in an actuarial capacity. • Able to apply relevant actuarial and economic theories and standards. • Able to manage smaller or more routine actuarial projects and serve as team lead.
