β€’ In this critical role as Director, Model Orchestration within the Actuarial Transformation Program, you will be directly responsible for successfully developing and implementing modeling processes onto our Actuarial Technology Platform. β€’ This role will lead a cross-functional team of actuaries, actuarial developers, data engineers, and software engineers. β€’ Your responsibilities will include overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of actuarial models on our technology platform. β€’ You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate actuarial models into broader business strategies and decision-making processes. β€’ Ensuring effective management of modeling activities, such as data collection, analysis, and reporting, will be key. β€’ Staying updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to continually refine actuarial practices.

Requirements

β€’ Actuarial credentials (ASA or FSA) β€’ Proven leadership skills, both formal and informal, including team management. β€’ Transformation/process improvement experience β€’ Promote professionalism by fostering collaboration with colleagues, taking ownership of results, and applying innovative technical solutions. β€’ Ability to work across organizational boundaries, particularly with IT partners. β€’ Experience with actuarial modeling systems; preference for GGY Axis. β€’ Familiarity with orchestration and low-code tools; preference for Dataiku. β€’ Advocate for cross-training and thorough process documentation. β€’ Stay informed about technological advancements to ensure our platform remains industry-leading and aligned with best practices.
