β’ In this critical role as Director, Model Orchestration within the Actuarial Transformation Program, you will be directly responsible for successfully developing and implementing modeling processes onto our Actuarial Technology Platform. β’ This role will lead a cross-functional team of actuaries, actuarial developers, data engineers, and software engineers. β’ Your responsibilities will include overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of actuarial models on our technology platform. β’ You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate actuarial models into broader business strategies and decision-making processes. β’ Ensuring effective management of modeling activities, such as data collection, analysis, and reporting, will be key. β’ Staying updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to continually refine actuarial practices.
β’ Actuarial credentials (ASA or FSA) β’ Proven leadership skills, both formal and informal, including team management. β’ Transformation/process improvement experience β’ Promote professionalism by fostering collaboration with colleagues, taking ownership of results, and applying innovative technical solutions. β’ Ability to work across organizational boundaries, particularly with IT partners. β’ Experience with actuarial modeling systems; preference for GGY Axis. β’ Familiarity with orchestration and low-code tools; preference for Dataiku. β’ Advocate for cross-training and thorough process documentation. β’ Stay informed about technological advancements to ensure our platform remains industry-leading and aligned with best practices.
