Description

• Analyze and synthesize requirements and recommend solutions for claims systems. • Implement configurations to support the solutions. • Shape the transformation of claims system capabilities from older systems to strategic cloud-based solutions that support our digital transformation and growth in our employee benefits business. • Collaborate with claims and claims management SMEs, software engineers, and data engineers to develop software solutions. • Liaise with other product development teams spanning the claims value stream as well as the employee benefits system ecosystem to develop comprehensive claims solutions. • Contribute - and at times - lead the test planning, setup and validation of solutions within the claims management systems.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required. • Bachelor’s degree preferred. • Concentration in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems is helpful. • Typically requires 4+ years of related experience. • Exceptional data and technical analysis skills are foundational to this role. • General database and SQL experience is required. • JSON and modern API integration experience is required. • Salesforce experience is preferred. • Experience working in insurance or claims domain is an enormous asset in this role. • Hands-on experience in business software IT system transition, data migration and system integrations including payload design and validation. • Experience in system current state discovery. • Working within an agile methodology to deliver proof of concept and production implementation in iterative sprints. • Peak communication skills and strong collaboration abilities are critical to this role.
