Description

• Assist with the quarterly and annual global tax reporting process in accordance with ASC 740 • Collaborate with other members of the Stanley Black & Decker organization • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and automation in the tax accounting process • Work with internal and external auditors on interim and annual audits • Research and analyze the tax impact of new accounting pronouncements and tax legislative developments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certificate or working towards a CPA • 3-4 years of tax experience, preferably within public accounting or publicly traded U.S. based multi-national companies • Strong working knowledge of ASC 740 • Strong knowledge of U.S. Federal, State, and International corporate tax concepts • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Strong work ethic and ability to partner in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint • Experience with Longview or OneSource Tax Provision software and enterprise software such as SAP, Hyperion or HFM is desirable but not required
