Description

• Provide technical support for EMEA team members and systems administration. • Work with Office 365, Windows system administration, and other business systems. • Manage IT infrastructure, supporting end-users, and coordinating equipment logistics. • Responsible for maintaining relationships between Workplace Technology and the EMEA team. • Administer and maintain business systems and servers, including patch management, backups, and user access control. • Ensure system security and data integrity through proactive monitoring, vulnerability management, and updates. • Oversee the provisioning and decommissioning of IT equipment for new hires and exiting employees. • Manage relationships with local IT vendors, ensuring prompt delivery of equipment and services.

Requirements

• 4+ years' experience and success in a systems admin/support engineer role or similar technical position. • Excellent knowledge of Systems Admin fundamentals – including Maintenance, Security, Networking, Backups, DR, etc. • Strong understanding of user support, problem analysis, and communication skills. • Ability to think logically and analytically to troubleshoot issues. • Superior technical ability and problem solving skills. • Ability to prioritise workload, manage time and schedule tasks, and be resilient to changing priorities. • Ability to manage multiple projects and multitask. • Resourceful, self-managed and energetic. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to interact with peers, management and colleagues. • Ability to see issues through to completion. • Leadership experience or aspirations will be looked upon favourably. • Scripting and language skills – PowerShell, SQL, Python, etc. • Azure, O365, Intune, Jamf Crowdstrike, Okta experience. • In depth knowledge of the current/recent Microsoft Server stack. • Automating processes and systems – taking the DevOps approach to repeatable tasks.
