Description

• Stavvy is transforming how business is conducted remotely by making complex legal and financial transactions easier, safer, and more accessible to all. • You will be an integral part of the growing Engineering team, responsible for developing the core backend capabilities that will have the largest impact on the experience of Stavvy’s users. • You will have the opportunity to work on a product driving change in the mortgage industry by simplifying processes and moving towards paperless transactions. • This role will be a member of the team responsible for developing a feature designed to help our customers work through mortgage forbearance.

Requirements

• Creative, skilled, and self-driven Software Engineer with 3+ years of back-end engineering experience with Java • Have an understanding of modern web infrastructure and architecture patterns • Experience building services in a cloud platform (AWS preferred) • Familiarity with PostgreSQL or some other SQL Database Experience with DataDog and a strong interest in observability is a plus • Capable of writing complex backend code for a publicly accessible web application that can scale with the expected business growth • Experience in the SaaS space and startup environment is preferred • Committed to collaborative problem solving and sophisticated design • Natural collaborator and problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments • Relentlessly curious and are continuously working to build your knowledge and learn
