📋 Description

• StepStone is currently seeking candidates for a Content Manager position within StepStone’s global RFP Team. • The Content Manager will be responsible for the strategic management and enhancements of the firm’s proposal content database. • This role will ensure the accuracy, accessibility, and efficiency of proposal responses, directly impacting the firm’s ability to respond to requests from current and prospective clients. • The Content Manager will collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) across StepStone, including the research, business development, monitoring and reporting, finance, legal, compliance, operational due diligence, and HR teams. • The candidate should possess a blend of content management expertise, technical acumen, strong interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of the financial services industry, particularly private markets. • Develop and implement a standardized, regular/annual review process for all content, partnering with SMEs to validate accuracy and relevance. • Identify and address content gaps, ensuring comprehensive coverage of frequently requested information. • Strong commitment to high-quality writing, demonstrated ability to produce compelling and compliant proposals against aggressive deadlines, and working in a global team environment. • Critically assess the accuracy and relevance of content provided by cross-functional team members in response to RFPs/RFIs/client requests where needed. • Ensure consistent and accurate tagging of content for optimal search functionality. • Monitor search analytics and refine metadata strategies to improve user experience. • Serve as the primary liaison with the database vendor to optimize AI functionality. • Collaborate on developing and implementing AI-driven content recommendations and automation. • Supervise and mentor junior content team members, delegating tasks effectively. • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for new and existing database users. • Create and maintain user-friendly documentation, standard operating procedures, and resources. • Assist with training junior RFP Team members to respond to industry surveys and ad hoc requests, organize attachment libraries, and redact documents as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or Liberal Arts. • Minimum of 10 years of related financial services (private equity, or investment management a plus) experience. • Minimum of 5 years of proposal database content management experience. • Highly motivated, strategic thinker with demonstrated history of taking initiative, being adaptive in a fast-changing environment, and working independently within a defined corporate system. • Strong ability to multi-task and manage time in a detail-oriented environment. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Fluency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). • Familiarity with Responsive/RFPIO and Salesforce preferred. • Follow up skills and attention to accuracy and detail are essential. • Strong problem-solving skills.
