Description
• The Senior Accountant of Financial Reporting & Consolidations will be responsible for assisting with the coordination and preparation of the global accounting consolidation and financial reporting of the company • This includes assisting in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements • Preparing supporting schedules and footnote disclosures • Collaborating with various internal partners, such as the corporate accounting team, fund accounting team and corporate finance team.
Requirements
• Three to five years of progressive accounting and/or finance experience • BS/BA degree in Accounting and/or Finance • Active CPA, or working towards CPA eligibility • Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred • Strong working knowledge of accounting/financial concepts, techniques and U.S. GAAP • Consolidation experience, or other relevant experience for a global organization with foreign locations and foreign currencies • Organized, accurate and has good attention to detail • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment • SEC reporting experience • Timely responsiveness and ability to work regular work hours with expanded hours during quarter and year-end • Focus on continual development, performance, accountability and self-motivation • Highly proficient in using Microsoft office products • NetSuite accounting software experience preferred • Equity-based compensation accounting a plus.
